Good little helper

It's so amazing to me how much Tyler has developed in the last couple of months. He understands so much of what we say to him now and can even follow instructions, well like any toddler when he feels like it. He's turned in to quite a good little helper.
Before we could leave daycare today he had to put away the little toys he was playing with, but that wasn't enough, he then went around the room and started to pick up some of the other toys. It took me a few minutes to explain to him that he needed to leave out some of the toys for the other kids who were still there. Shaun said it sounds like he's learned well from me, everything has it's place.
One of the things I've taught him at home is to help me put away his highchair after meals. Here's a picture of him pushing it back to it's place in the breakfast room tonight after dinner.

Everything does have it's place and it's never too early to learn that. I think it's great that he's your little helper...and a very cute one at that!
