Super Tyler!!!

Gran & Grandaddy gave Tyler these awesome pjs for Christmas so of course we had to try them out this weekend and get some cute shots of our little Superman.

"Cheese!"

"These pjs are TOO cool!"

"Check out my cape!"

Super Tyler!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day at our was lots of fun this year. We kind of recreated things since Tyler gets up so early, but when he came down the stairs he was very excited to see his new tricycle. After he explored that a little bit, semi-posed for a few pictures for me and we took a little spin arond the living room, we opened his other present and his stocking. (side note: At some point Christmas Eve at my parents house Tyler picked up on Sydney, his closest cousin who is 4, saying "cheese" so now he does that everytime he sees the camera, it's very cute.)

"Check out my new bike!"

"I think I can figure this out."

This was his other present, the name part on the stool is a puzzle.

and here's the table again... did I mention it has a dry erase top on it?

another of Tyler's favorite gifts was this water color book from his stocking

Check out all the loot!

This was a great Christmas! We were so happy to spend time with our families and enjoy some nice relaxing family time at home as well. Thanks to everyone for the generous and thoughful gifts to us. We love you all.

Christmas Eve

On the 23rd we traveled to Tyler to my parents house to visit family there for Christmas Eve. It was a quick, but lots of fun trip. We all got some fun gifts and Tyler had lots of fun playing with his cousins and running around all over Gran & Grandaddy's house, inside and outside.

Tyler opening the first of many presents.

and throwing away his trash. This cracked me up... he would run the trash over to Grandaddy as soon as he finished unwrapping a gift. In fact, Christmas morning at our house the first thing he said after he unwrapped a present was Trash? Tiddy kiddo, got to love it!

Showing off one of his gifts from Gran & Grandaddy. He loves this table and chairs.

Apparently unwrapping gifts made Tyler hungry because after the kiddos finished and the adults were unwrapping Gran had to get he and a few of his cousins a little Cheeto snack.

Tyler & Sydney playing with one of his new toys and testing out the table. He really had fun playing with Syd. She's very sweet to him and makes him laugh.

Sitting "patiently" with Momma while other people unwrap presents.

Playing with Uncle Chris

I think he was trying to climb the tree like he had watched his cousins do.

Merry Christmas from Gran & Grandaddy's!

Christmas Celebration #1

I'm going to try and catch up over the next day or so on posting pictures from Christmas since I've been lazy during the holidays. We had a great Christmas. Tyler was lots of fun this year and into everything. Everyone in our house squeezed in some much needed extra rest as well, even Tyler who slept until after 8am two or three different times. This was a special treat for me, so thank you Lil T, Momma appreciated the extra sleep very much!
We celebrated Christmas with Shaun's family on the 20th. It was a nice, low key evening filled with presents and laughs as we enjoyed spending time together. As usual I didn't think to take as many pictures as I should have, but here are a few.

Grandad arrived with a Santa hat and Rudolph nose. Tyler wasn't too sure about that nose at first, but liked the hat.

Here's Tyler helping Grandad open his "BIG" present.

After presents Tyler got Grandad to read him a book. I think he's catching on that everyone that lives in our house is getting a little tired of Good Night Moon so he asks visitors now. :)

Time out to give the bear a hug!

Ok, let's try that nose now.

Anyone Remember this Little Guy?

My how things change in just a years time.

This was our Christmas card photo last year.

This was Tyler dead asleep in the middle of all the present opening at my parents' house last Christmas. I don't think there is ANY chance he will fall asleep this year!

Christmas Pictures

A few weeks ago I had Tyler's picture taken by a photographer in Frisco. I had her take a few shots of he and I together as well. Overall I was very pleased with the pictures and she let me purchase some of the images instead of just prints so I was excited about that. Here are a few of them.

He looks so grown up in this one I thought.

One of my favorites. He was running towards me in this one.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! Stay safe and enjoy some time to relax and spend with friends and family. We love you all.

The Jones House is Ready for Christmas

Our house is officially decorated for the holidays now. Actually it has been all week, I just now took some pictures.
I attempted to get Tyler to stand in front of the tree and let me take his picture, but he was having NO part of that (see previous post about all the wiggling), so here are a few pics of some of our decorations.

Our tree with it's new bow this year and breakable ornaments moved up high away from little hands. :)

Our mantle with newly aquired ornament trees

This is a little bear decoration that I've had for several years. It stands almost as tall as Tyler and he seems to really like it. He walks up to it and gives it a hug every couple of days... very cute.

My Guys

Shaun and Tyler have so much fun together. Here are couple of shots of them from the last week or so doing some of their favorite things.

Shaun reading "Good Night Moon" to Tyler for the 100th time. Tyler looks weird in this picture... I think he was just wiggling around like he normal does these days, sitting still doesn't happen unless Mickey Mouse and the television are involved.

Watching football... Tyler LOVES football. Everytime he sees a tv playing a game he yells FOOTBALL... this is particularly funny when we're out shopping and he yells it out in the store.

The flash always gives the photographer away!

I know that I've mentioned before how much Tyler likes fruit... these days we're very into Apples... yum... on this particular day he was whining so much before I cut the apple up that I just gave it to him whole to see what he would do with it. He almost got a bite out of it, but ended up wanting me to cut it up.
