Happy Thanksgiving!!

We hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Our family had a nice, relaxing long weekend.
I know I've been a major slacker on the blogging lately, but I promise you haven't missed anything super exciting with us over the past few weeks. We've visited with family, Tyler had his picture taken for Christmas, and he and I are trying to get a jump on Christmas shopping. Tyler is talking a little more everyday and continues to be a good little helper.

Gobble, gobble! Our little tukey showing off the hat he made at daycare... you can't see it in this picture, but it has feathers on the back of it and is very cute.

Shaun & Tyler showing off their flipping trick for Grandma & Grandad before they left our house on Thanksgiving day.

... and a high five to celebrate a successful flip

We enjoyed Thanksgiving and now Tyler and I say... bring on Christmas!

Happier days

The past couple of weeks have been up and down for us. Tyler had an upper respitory infection and was out of daycare for two days last week and today he had a little stomach bug and Grandma stayed home with him. Thanks SO much for your help Grandma! Tyler, Shaun and I love and appreciate you SO very much!

Anyhow, I thought I would post a few pictures today from happier days in the last several weeks to keep us all smiling. :)

No, Tyler's hair hasn't turned orange, that would be yummy sauce from his Beefaroni of course.

Our sneaky little guy playing with one of his new favorite toys... his Handy Manny backpack... it has wheels, need I say more?

More Monkey Fun

Tyler and I went to visit my parents this past weekend and attended their church's Fall Festival. I grew up in their church so it was fun to see some friendly faces I hadn't seen in awhile and of course to show off my little Monkey.
Tyler had a great time. It didn't take him long to warm up to the place and all the people. I think he tried just about every game they had short of the dart toss, for obvious reasons.

Here he is applauding himself after throwing a ball into the bucket. As you can see the ladies that ran this booth were entertained by him as well.

BY FAR of course his favorite thing was the bounce house that had a little slide on it. We made two lengthy trips to the bounce house.

Checkin things out.

Mr. Andrew was nice enough to help him up to the top of the slide so he could go down... over and over and over and over

They had a guy walking around playing the guitar and talking to the kids and Tyler was mesmerized by him for a good while.

One last trip to the bounce house and down the slide before we left. After awhile that Monkey outfit does get a little warm so we took the top part off him.

Costume Parade

Tyler's school had a costume parade on Friday morning as part of their Halloween celebration. I went in to work late so that I could go and it was well worth it. When he first saw me there he seemed to be a little confused as to why I was there, but then was excited. I did an awful job taking video of the event, but I got some cute pictures of our little Monkey.

He kept walking up to me while I was trying to take his picture so here's one of the up CLOSE pictures I ended up with from that. Still cute I thought.

Cheese!

Hangin out with one of his teachers and some of his classmates.

Sitting with some of his class waiting for a picture. He was so torn on sitting with his class or not... he kept running over to me and giving me a hug then running back to sit with the class. It was very cute.

The Cutest Monkey I've ever seen! Tail, Banana and all. :)
