SNOW DAY! The Before Pictures

A few weeks ago it was VERY cold here in the Dallas and we had several days of yuck ice weather and then FINALLY at the end of that week we had a REAL snow day. Earlier this winter we had had snow fall in the area but it never really stuck at our house so we were excited to see some good accumulation this time. It was a nice reward after being mostly stuck in the house for several days straight.

Tyler and I were both skeptical of the forecast for snow before we went to bed Thursday night so we were both surprised on Friday morning. These are the pictures before we went out and played in the snow.

Backyard... it looks so peaceful covered in that white blanket of snow.

this slide he never really uses anymore but I can't quite get rid of it because it makes me remember this little Tyler playing on it

out the front window...not completely undisturbed snow though... it looks like one of the many bunnies that lives in the green belt behind our house had paid us a visit that morning and left his little footprints in the snow. :)
